Dear Marine Supporter:
Thank you for your generous support of the 2009 Marines Helping Marines Golf Tournament. We are starting plans for the 2010 tournament. Proceeds from the 2010 tournament will go to Marines Helping Marine, Hope for the Warriors, and Wounded Warrier Project charities.
Even though some of our troops are rotating home and families are being reunited, their needs continue to grow and they need our help both financially and spiritually.
The Marine Corps League has always been in the foreground for helping Marines and their families under the banner of ‘Once a Marine, Always a Marine.’ Today Marine fundraisers help all branches of the services and their families.
The 2010 Marines Helping Marines Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010 at the Sound Golf Links at Albemarle Plantation. We are asking Marine supporters to plan a sponsorship into your 2010 budget.
Please consider selecting one of the sponsorship levels.
Semper Fidelis,
Aaron Davidson, Commandant
Marine Corps League 1258 Albemarle Detachment

Marines Helping Marines and Hope for the Warriors will benefit from this Golf Classic. Marines Helping Marines was established in 2003 at Bethesda Naval Hospital to aid in the rehabilitation of wounded Marines. Hope for the Warriors was established in 2006 to enhance the quality of life for U.S. service members and their families.
Both charities actively seek to ensure that the sacrifices of our wounded and fallen warriors and their families are never forgotten nor their needs unmet. Both charities are civilian organizations with 501(c)3 non-profit status. |
